The Natural Reserve spreads over a large area between the sea and a lagoon with areas of woodland planted over a century ago to protect inland areas from wind swept sand. Pre-arranged guided tours are available and the visitor also has access to an Interpretation Centre and a Welcoming Centre in order to better take advantage and increase their knowledge of this beautiful natural heritage.

The São Jacinto Beach boasts a beautiful landscape, it's dunes intersperced with charming wooden passageways that can be mistaken for the naturally surrounding panorama.
