From South East London to E14 – what a change!

Although, there are only a few DLR stops separating South East London from the hustle and bustle of E14 and Canary Wharf – I did not know there could be such a huge difference!
Being the new starter at the Canary Wharf office several weeks ago, it took me a while to understand that the typical period houses with large gardens on quiet leafy streets are not a priority for prospective tenants in and around E14. It’s simply all about the new builds!
The thought of being a resident in a luxurious apartment building, set over 20 floors, with private resident amenities such as a gym, sauna, restaurants, and a 24hr concierge – is insane but I can see what the appeal is.
It is incredible, how different each area of London is, and I am sincerely grateful to be located in a prime location. Even though, I do miss the traditional period houses but I am now exposed to exceptional residential developments such as ‘Arena Tower’, ‘The Heron’, ‘Pan Peninsula’, ‘Landmark’ and ‘Arora Tower; these are just a few, to say the least.
I am still learning so much everyday about the different areas we cover as an office, whilst discovering all of the stunning properties that we have to offer. And, I am certainly enjoying every moment of it.
