The Location

The South West London, riverside borough of Wandsworth has long been a firm favourite of young families, so much so that the area around Wandworth Common is affectionally known as ‘Nappy Valley’. Its semi-suburban location has a village-like feel with plenty of tree-lined streets, huge parks, and good schools whilst still being near to central London. With the Thames at its north, Wandsworth incorporates areas such as Battersea, Putney and Tooting.

The iconic Battersea Power Station is a major Wandsworth landmark that has recently undergone substantial redevelopment. This mixed-use building and the surrounding Nine Elms area have become the central hub of a new, modern neighbourhood bringing locals and tourists together to enjoy the thriving new bars, restaurants, gyms and shops. Beautiful Battersea Park, Wandsworth Common and Putney Heath are just three of the many green spaces to enjoy in the area that, along with the Zone 1 Northern line extension, continues to attract buyers and developers to Wandsworth.
